Today, Prof. ( Dr.) Rukhsana Najeeb, Principal/Dean GMC Anantnag attended international conference at Islamic University of Science and Technology as "Guest of Honour". The conference was organised by IUST in collaboration with UDMA.
The communique sent to the worthy Principal from IUST reads, "We are delighted to invite you to valedictory session of the international conference 'AYUSH for healthy living: Integrating Indian and modern systems of Medicine' organised by IUST in collaboration with UDMA...... We would be honoured to invite you to grace the valedictory session of the conference as Guest of Honour.....' 'Additionally we anticipate the signing of MOU between IUST and GMC Anantnag during the valedictory session...."
Experts are describing this offer of MOU between GMC Anantnag and IUST as a very positive development. Thy are calling it a sign of influence that GMC Anantnag has started making over the various spheres of health and medical education and higher education within the UT of J and K and Beyond.
