We hit 9 terror targets in Pak with precision in Operation Sindoor, missed none: NSA Ajit Doval

CHENNAI: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Friday expressed pride in the role played by indigenous technologies in Operation Sindoor, highlighting their contribution to the precision and success of the mission. Speaking at the 62nd convocation ceremony of IIT Madras, Doval said the operation, executed in the early hours of 7 May, lasted just 23 minutes and resulted in no collateral damage within India.

He credited systems such as BrahMos missiles, radars, integrated air control, command systems, and other advanced surveillance technologies for the operation's effectiveness.

“We hit nine terrorist targets deep inside Pakistan not near the border, but across its criss-crossed terrain with pinpoint accuracy. We missed none, and we hit nothing else,” Doval stated.

Criticising the Western media’s coverage of the operation, he challenged claims suggesting Pakistani retaliation had caused damage within India.
“Foreign press said Pakistan did this and that. But show me one photograph, one image, showing damage in India. Not even a glass pane has been broken,” he remarked.

Ajit Doval said Artificial Intelligence (AI) is going to change the world, and If India wants to lead the world, it must embrace and lead AI, quantum computing and space tech among others. He urged the graduating class to combine their growth and progress with that of India’s and contribute to its growth.
