Anantnag, September 12: A motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident at Buchoo area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports reaching Sachnews Jammu Kashmir said the accident took place at Buchoo Kokernag when a motorcycle collided with a Tavera vehicle. The injured rider was immediately rushed to GMC Anantnag and later referred to a hospital in Srinagar. However, doctors declared him dead shortly after admission.
The deceased has been identified as Showkat Ahmad Wani, son of Mohd Afzal Wani, a resident of Adigam Kokernag.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation.
