Illegal Mining: Geology and Mining Department Seized JCB at Ladhoo Pampore

PAMPORE, December 09:

Geology and Mining department on Monday seized one JCB machine involved in Illegal mining at Ladhoo village of Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Geology and Mining officials told Sachnews that in its continuous drive and action against illegal mining, extraction and transporting of minerals, Geology and Mining Department seized 01 JCB machine which were found involved in illegal clay excavation at Ladhoo area of Pampore Tehsil.

The seized JCB Shifted to Sub office Khrew, Bashir Ahmad said.

He said that his dedicated team has been put on high alert day and night to monitor illegal mining in the area. He assured that all illegal mining cases would be dealt with according to the rules, utilizing a fast-track system for necessary actions against the violators.
