New Cardiology Ward Inaugurated at Government Medical College Anantnag

Anantnag, Dec 15: In a significant boost to cardiac healthcare services in the district, a new Cardiology Ward was inaugurated today at Government Medical College (GMC) Janglatmandi Anantnag.

The newly established ward has been equipped with all basic and essential medical facilities aimed at ensuring improved diagnosis, treatment, and care for patients suffering from heart-related ailments.

The inauguration ceremony was formally conducted by the Principal of GMC Anantnag, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb, along with the Medical Superintendent,Dr Arshad Hussain Sideeque Associated Hospital Janglatmandi, Anantnag.

On the occasion, all cardiologists of the department were present, including Dr. Syed Mohammad Maqbool, Dr. Shamim Iqbal, Dr. Showkat Hussain Shah, and Dr. Shahood Kakroo, marking the event as a collective effort towards strengthening cardiac care services at Government Medical College Anantnag.

The establishment of the cardiology ward has been widely welcomed by patients and the general public, who have described it as a major relief and a positive step towards strengthening the healthcare infrastructure and enhancing specialized medical services in the region.
