AWANTIPORA, December 10:
Continuing its Operation against drug peddlers Awantipora Police today Seized Four Wheeler car valuing approximately Rs 3.30 Lacs,belonging to notorious drug peddler namely Jitender Singh son of Nirmal Singh, resident of Gamraj Tral under section 68-Fof NDPS Act 1985.
The vehicle was identified as illegally acquired property during the course of enquiry conducted by SHO Police Station Tral, Insp. Tanveer Jahangir under the supervision of SDPO Tral which has been acquired from illicit trafficking in Narcotic drug and Psychotropic Substances by the said drug peddler.
Pertinently the said Drug is involved in Case FIR Nos:
1) 28/2024 NDPS Act of PS Tral
2) 139/2021NDPS Act of PS Awantipora.
This operation reaffirms the commitment of Awantipora Police to combat the drug menace. Local people of the area hailed the initiative of Awantipora Police with regard to the attachment of moveable property which was acquired been from illicit trafficking of narcotics by the drug peddlers in the Police District Awantipora.
