DIG JKS Range Visits Rajbagh Kathua, Assures Efforts to Trace Missing Boys

 


Family Appeals for Help as Search Intensifies

Kathua, March 12: In a bid to intensify the search for two missing boys, DIG JKS Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma (IPS), visited Rajbagh and Marheen, where he met with the families of Sarwa din (15) and Rehmat Ali (12), who mysteriously disappeared while grazing cattle near Goat Farm Bhamberwan on February 27, 2025.

Accompanied by DySP Border Dheeraj Katoch and SHO Rajbagh Ajay Chib, the DIG assured the families that every possible effort would be made to locate the boys. Acting on their formal complaint, police have registered FIR No. 51/2025 under Section 137(2) BNS, initiating a thorough investigation.

Authorities have been directed to liaise with other districts, including Punjab, Jammu, and Udhampur, while special teams have been deployed to trace any possible leads. Additionally, photographs of the missing boys have been widely circulated to seek public assistance.
