New Delhi, April 24: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President and Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi appealed for national unity while strongly condemning the misinformation and propaganda targeting the Kashmiri community, particularly students, in the wake of the recent Pahalgam attack.

After attending the all-party meeting convened by the central government, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi as per Sachnews Jammu Kashmir said, “The false propaganda against Kashmiri people and Kashmiri students must stop. If people on social media or certain TV anchors continue to promote communal hatred, it will only benefit hostile elements and enemy forces.

He firmly stated, “Muslims have nothing to do with this, nor will they ever.”

Owaisi emphasized that no community, especially one that is an integral and dignified part of this country, should be vilified based on religion. “Yes, we all agree that asking someone's religion before killing them is horrific and condemnable beyond words. But if, in response to that, we start targeting innocent people, then we are only empowering those who carried out such acts of terrorism,” he added.

The AIMIM chief concluded by urging the government to ensure the safety of all citizens and take firm action against divisive narratives.
