MLA Pampore and retired Justice Hasnain Masoodi on Monday visited the under-construction building of the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Kakapora to review the progress of the project and assess the quality of ongoing work.
During the inspection, officials from the Health Department and the executing agency briefed Masoodi on the current status of the project. He closely examined the construction quality and infrastructure being developed, and interacted with engineers and on-site workers to gauge the pace of execution.
Highlighting the importance of the new PHC, Masoodi described it as a key initiative to strengthen primary healthcare services in Kakapora and adjoining areas. He underscored the need to complete the project within the stipulated timeline, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
The MLA directed all concerned departments to maintain effective coordination and promptly resolve any pending issues to expedite the completion process. He emphasized that the facility should be made functional for the public at the earliest.
Reaffirming his commitment to the people of the Pampore constituency, Masoodi stated that improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring the welfare of residents remain top priorities for him.
