Lethpora, June 3: The rescue operation to trace 21-year-old Fayaz Ahmad, who went missing in the Jhelum River on June 1, resumed today for the third consecutive day near Khenibugh, Lethpora.
Officials told Sachnews Jammu Kashmir that teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Pulwama and Awantipora, in collaboration with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), are continuing efforts to locate and retrieve the missing youth.
Fayaz Ahmad, son of Nazir Ahmad and a resident of Sunderbani, Rajouri, reportedly went missing after a boat capsized in the river on Sunday morning.
