Baramulla, July 13:
A tragic incident unfolded at the Gantamulla Power Canal in Boniyar area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district, where four boys reportedly drowned in a water reservoir on Sunday afternoon.
According to officials, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Kashmir, in coordination with Civil Defence Uri, swiftly launched a search and rescue operation to trace the missing boys.
Initial rescue efforts by local residents led to the retrieval of two boys. One was found alive and immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, while the other was found deceased.
As of now, the search continues for the remaining two boys who are still missing. Divers and rescue teams remain deployed at the site.
