Srinagar, August 03:
An 18-year-old boy drowned while bathing in Dal Lake near Nigeen Club in Srinagar on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Faizan Amir Sheikh, son of Amir Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Noorbagh Noor Colony, Srinagar.
According to official reports, a joint operation was launched by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Quick Response Teams (QRT) from Nigeen and Hazratbal.
After hours of search efforts, the body of the teenager was successfully retrieved from the lake.
