Anantnag, August 25: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, strongly criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), holding the party’s “devastating policies” responsible for the ongoing challenges faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
During his tour of Kadipora, Anantnag, Shah alleged that despite enjoying a significant mandate in the Anantnag constituency for over 12 years, the PDP failed to deliver on development and basic public services. “The current hardships being faced by the people are a direct result of the greed and poor decisions made by the PDP leadership during their tenure,” Shah asserted.
Highlighting local demands, Shah called for the immediate commencement of construction work on a marriage hall in Shaksaz Mohalla Kadipora, emphasizing the need for such a facility to accommodate social gatherings. He also underscored the urgency of widening and developing inner roads in the area, urging the administration to expedite grievance redressal measures before the onset of winter.
Shah further urged party workers to intensify grassroots political engagement, stressing that the NC’s pro-people agenda must be carried forward with renewed commitment. He called upon the cadre to act as a bridge between the leadership and the public, ensuring stronger communication and effective representation of people’s concerns.
