AWANTIPORA , December 26:
Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested drug peddler from Awantipora area .
During naka Checking at Sail Crossing ,Police party of Police Post Toll Plaza under the supervision of IC Police Post Toll Plaza Sub Inspector Muneer Ahmad arrested 01 drug peddler identified as Kifayat Shafiq son of Shafiq Ahmad Bhat, resident of Sail Awantipora, police officials said in a press statement issued to Sachnews.
The arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances and during search 3.5 Kg of grinded Cannabis like substance was recovered from his possession.
Case FIR No. 184/2024 under relevant section of NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Awantipora.
