AWANTIPORA, December 30:
Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested drug peddler from Awantipora area .
During naka Checking at Beighpora Crossing ,Police party of Police Post Reshipora under the supervision of IC Police Post Reshipora Insp. Bilal Ahmad arrested 01 drug peddler identified as Mohd Khalid Sheikh S/O Fakir Mohd Sheikh R/O Khowrpara Karnah.
The arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances and during search 1.015 Kg of grinded Cannabis like substance was recovered from his possession .
Case FIR No. 191/2024 under relevant section of NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Awantipora.
