AWANTIPORA, January 11:
A 15 year old boy was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday evening.
The deceased was identified Moomin Tariq Mir son of Tariq Ahmad, resident of Barsoo, officials told Sachnews.
The accident took place at Srinagar-Jammu National Highway Barsoo area of Awantipora , one truck bearing registration number GJ39T-4614 who came from Srinagar towards Anantnag side and hit one pedestrian later identified as Moomin Tariq Mir and the said pedestrian died on spot, officials told Sachnews.
Meanwhile, the police Awantipora have taken cognizance of the incident, he said.
