Awantipora Police along with Army 42 RR and CRPF 130 BN have busted a terrorist hideout in Awantipora area and recovered ammunition and explosives.
Acting on a specific input, Police Awantipora along with Army 42 RR and CRPF 130 BN ,launched a meticulous combing operation in the Larmoh area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Awantipora. During the search operation, a terrorist hideout was discovered from Govt. Middle Larmoh, incriminating material including 01 Grenade,01 UBGL, 01 Pistol Magazine , 01 API 7.62 MM Round , 03 Normal 7.62 MM Round, 01 Pistol Round , 01 Broken Magzine , 01 electric Detonator, 04 Normal non electric Detonators, 01 PTD switch, 01 normal Switch, 10 mtrs of Safety Fuse wire, 02 9v Batteries (material used in fabricating of an IED) , 01 Data Cable, 02 Tape Roll , and 01 bucket was recovered from the said hideout, Police officias said in a press statement issued to Sachnews.
Case FIR number 15/2025 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Awantipora. Further investigation going on
