Srinagar, March 28: The Meteorological Department (MeT) has issued an advisory predicting strong surface winds with speeds reaching 60-70 KMPH and light rain and thunderstorms at isolated places across Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. These conditions are expected to persist until the afternoon or late afternoon.
Following today's weather disturbance, the MeT forecast indicates generally dry weather from March 29 to March 31. The dry spell is also expected to continue from April 1 to April 6, providing relief from the turbulent weather.
Advisory Issued for Travelers and Public
The MeT has urged travelers, tourists, and transporters to adhere to administrative and traffic advisories while planning their journeys.
Additionally, farmers have been advised to resume their agricultural operations, taking advantage of the upcoming dry weather conditions.

The department has also issued safety guidelines for the general public, especially in view of the strong winds. Residents and tourists are advised to:
