PAMPORE, March 10:
Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Pampore organized a mega enrollment car rally drive in Pampore to raise awareness about government school enrollment. The rally was flagged off by HOD DIET Pampore, Mohammad Altaf, from the ZEO office in Pampore. A large number of teachers and masters from the Pampore zone actively participated in the drive, officials told Sachnews.
The rally passed through various areas, including the main market of Saffron Town Pampore, Konibal, Meej, Lalpora, Chatlam other nearby areas. During the drive, the local residents were informed about the benefits of enrolling their children in government schools. They were made aware that the government provides free textbooks, uniforms, and mid-day meals to students. Additionally, it was highlighted that government school teachers are more highly qualified than those in private schools. Parents were encouraged to enroll their children in government schools to ensure quality education and better facilities.
Talking to Sachnews, HOD DIET Pampore, Mohammad Altaf, said that they organized a mega enrollment drive today in Zone Pampore under the 15-day government order. Over the past two days, nearly 100 new admissions have taken place in the Pampore education zone.
Today, at Lalpora Chatlam Middle School, five new admissions were registered. During the drive, special emphasis was placed on encouraging new enrollments. Parents and teachers who attended were informed about the various facilities provided by the government in schools, including teachers, infrastructure, midday meals, uniforms, free books, and free education.
The objective was to raise awareness among people and ensure that their children get enrolled in government schools.
The enrollment drive has been successful so far. With the efforts of teachers and zonal administration, there is optimism that more than 500 new students will be enrolled during this 15-day programme.
