Pahalgam, April 22:
At least eight tourists were injured in a terrorist attack at Baisaran, approximately 4 kilometers from Pahalgam in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, on Tuesday.
Official sources told Sachnews Jammu Kashmir,that unidentified terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists, triggering panic in the otherwise peaceful tourist destination. Security forces rushed to the spot, and the injured were immediately evacuated to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
The area was immediately cordoned off by security forces, and a large-scale search operation has been launched to trace the attackers.
