SRINAGAR, APRIL 20: In view of the ongoing severe weather conditions and forecasts, the Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to suspend classwork in all schools across the Kashmir valley for one day tomorrow, April 21.

Education Minister Sakina Itoo made the announcement on social media, stating that the precautionary measure has been taken to ensure the safety and well-being of students during the adverse weather conditions.

"The decision has been made in light of the continuing severe weather and forecasts, with a focus on safeguarding our students. The government prioritizes the safety of children, and we urge everyone to stay safe during these challenging conditions," said Itoo in her post.

This move comes as authorities continue to monitor weather patterns, which include heavy rains, thunderstorms, and gusty winds that have been affecting the region in recent days.
