Anantnag, April 10: Reaffirming the National Conference’s (NC) commitment to holistic development and public welfare, senior NC leader and Vice District President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, stated that the party remains steadfast in fulfilling the promises made to the people during the election campaign.

Shah appreciated the efforts of NC leadership, particularly under the visionary guidance of its patron Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Jenab Omar Abdullah, noting that several commitments have already been fulfilled within the initial three months of their governance.

He expressed optimism over the recent formation of an administrative committee for the regularisation of daily wagers, hoping that it will soon bring concrete measures for their permanent regularisation.

Addressing a well-attended public gathering at Hardu Turu, Shah assured the locals that their genuine concerns would be addressed on a priority basis. He also urged the government to expedite the execution of the already sanctioned sports stadium project, for which an amount of ₹52.98 lakh has been approved for development.

Furthermore, Shah highlighted the importance of the proposed school building, which has already been earmarked at a designated and identified government land. He stressed the need for timely implementation to benefit the local youth and students.
