Anantnag, July 5: Lauding Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his sustained efforts toward the restoration of statehood and special status for Jammu and Kashmir, Senior National Conference (NC) leader and Vice District President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, said the NC leadership remains steadfast in its commitment to the welfare and dignity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
During his visit to Anzullah today, Imran Shah stated, “From restoring infrastructure to rebuilding public trust, our government is taking meaningful steps every day. The NC exists to serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir — not for personal gain.”
Taking a swipe at rival parties, Shah added, “Some politicians have made it a habit to point fingers at the NC, while ignoring the glaring nepotism and self-serving agendas within their own parties. Their tenure from 2015 to 2018 was marked by mass corruption and a political culture solely focused on empowering family members and close associates.”
Imran Shah further urged NC workers to mobilize at the grassroots level and prepare wholeheartedly for the upcoming local body elections. “The cadre must remain united and work diligently to ensure a decisive victory for the party in these polls,” Shah emphasized.
