The Office of the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Anantnag has announced the postponement of the Driving Skill Test originally scheduled for April 10, 2025.
The decision has been taken in view of the Annual Urs Sharief Shab-u-doum (Chitragaan) celebrations at Ziyarat Sharief Sakhi Zain-ud-Din Wali (RA) in Aishmuqam, and the subsequent deployment of transport arrangements for the convenience of Zayireens (pilgrims).
An official statement issued by the ARTO Anantnag stated that the rescheduling is necessary to facilitate smooth management of transport and public movement during the religious occasion.
A fresh date for the Driving Skill Test will be communicated in due course. The ARTO has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused.
