Srinagar, April 8: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that three more separatist-linked political organizations from Jammu and Kashmir have officially disassociated themselves from the Hurriyat Conference, signaling a growing endorsement of the Indian Constitution and a shift away from separatist ideology in the Valley.
Amit Shah as per Sachnews Jammu Kashmir named the three groups as the Jammu Kashmir Islamic Political Party, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Democratic League, and the Kashmir Freedom Front.
"This is a prominent demonstration of the people's trust in the Constitution of India within the Valley," Amit Shah stated in his post. He further emphasized that this development reinforces Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a united and powerful Bharat.
So far, a total of 11 organizations have reportedly distanced themselves from the separatist Hurriyat faction, which once dominated the political discourse in parts of Kashmir, Shah added.
