Bandipora, April 08:
The body of a 37-year-old woman was recovered on Tuesday from the Madhumati Nallah near Sonerwani, in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reports reaching Sachnews Jammu Kashmir said, that the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Bandipora unit conducted the recovery operation after receiving information from local sources. The body was successfully retrieved from the fast-flowing stream and later identified as a resident of Manipal, Athwatoo.
Authorities have shifted the body for medico-legal formalities.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation.
