Doda, June 14: AAP MLA from Doda, Mehraj Malik, has formally withdrawn his support to the National Conference (NC), citing the trust and welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir as his top priority.
The announcement was made via a public statement, where Malik cited the interests and welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir as his primary motivation.
“I, Mehraj Malik, MLA from Doda, hereby withdraw my support to NC in the government coalition. This decision has been taken in the best interest of my people of Jammu and Kashmir, whose trust and welfare will always be my top priority,” he stated.
Malik did not elaborate on the specific reasons behind the political move but stressed that it reflects his commitment to public service and responsible leadership.
