Jammu–Srinagar National Highway Closed Due to Shooting Stones, Heavy Rains Halt Vehicular Movement

Jammu, August 18: The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been closed for traffic following incidents of shooting stones at multiple locations, triggered by continuous heavy rainfall. 

According to the Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police, all types of vehicular movement have been suspended as a precautionary measure. Authorities have advised commuters to avoid undertaking any journey along the highway until weather conditions improve and the road is cleared for safe passage.
