Female Leopard and Three Cubs Captured by Wildlife Control Team in Tral

TRAL, July 30:

A female leopard along with her three cubs, who had been causing panic in the Lurgam area of Tral for the past two months, was successfully captured by the Wildlife Control Room, Khangund.

Wildlife Warden South Kashmir, Suhail Ahmad Wagay, told Sachnews Jammu Kashmir that after sustained efforts and coordination, the wildlife team managed to safely trap the leopard and her cubs, bringing much-needed relief to local residents. The animals have been shifted to the Rescue Centre in Shopian, where they will undergo necessary medical examinations and other formalities. The leopard and her cubs are completely safe.

The department has assured that all safety protocols were followed during the operation and that the well-being of the animals remains a top priority.
